An athletic and technical left-footed defender, Pupe joined Whitecaps FC in August 2025 via transfer from Belgian side F.C.V. Dender.
Pupe agreed to an MLS contract through 2027, with a club option for 2028.
F.C.V. DENDER
Pupe originally joined Dender in 2023 and went on to become the team's captain. The centre back, who also saw time as a left back, made 64 appearances and added five assists, earning a spot on the 2023/24 Challenger Pro League Team of the Season and helping Dender secure promotion to the top tier Beligan Pro League. Prior to his arrival in Vancouver, Pupe started four matches for Dender during the 2025/26 league season.
LIERSE S.K.
Prior to moving to Dender, Pupe spent the 2022/23 season at Belgian side Lierse S.K., starting 28 of his 29 total appearances and notching two goals along with three assists.
SINT-ELOOIS-WINKEL SPORT
During the 2021/22 season, Pupe spent time with Sint-Eloois-Winkel Sport, starting 27 of his 28 appearances.
ADDITIONAL CAREER
Pupe has also had stops at KSV Oostkamp, while spending time at Dutch side Almere City.
YOUTH
In his youth, Pupe played at Belgian clubs Club Brugge and K.V. Kortrijk.
